Ron Peters
President & Founder
A pioneer in the art of utilizing digital video to enhance the user experience, Ron has honed his skills since his undergraduate research at the Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1991, Ron co-wrote DiVA VideoShop, the first real-time software-only digital video editing system. VideoShop was the first software application to integrate all aspects of digital video production, and pioneered such innovations as the Video Canvas and unlimited video and audio tracks. DiVA was acquired by Avid Technologies, an Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy award-winning digital media company which subsequently went public in 1993 (NASDAQ: AVID). Ron also contributed to the development of Avid's Open Media Framework Interchange (OMF-I), a standard for moving digital media files and compositions between computer systems that has been taken over by Microsoft and is now called the Advanced Authoring Format (AAF). After Avid, Ron went to work on the QuickTime team at Apple Computer, where the software he wrote has shipped over 250 million units to date.

 

Nancy Peters
Vice-President, Business Development
Nancy provides advisory services in business strategy and operational performance improvement, marketing and sales, technology resources and web site development. Prior to Red Folder, Nancy brings 15 years of corporate experience working for the Fortune 100 company, American Express. She began her career in advertising in their Card division, then moved to the Consumer Travel division. She is experienced in marketing and sales, operational and consulting roles. Among Nancy's responsibilities is the maintenance of Red Folder's relationship with American Express, building a high-performance interactive web site emphasizing travel agent training tools and industry marketing and communication vehicles. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University.
